Monterey Hypnosis Center has one purpose – to help people improve their lives. We have spent many years developing techniques to offer proven ways to give people the ability to make changes and adjust negative habits.
Our Hypnotherapists
Monterey Hypnosis Center’s Master Hypnotherapist is Larry Conte. He was certified as a Smoking Cessation Specialist In May 2007. His first Certification was awarded to me in December 2006 as a Hypnotherapist. Larry continued
his education with Josie Hadley at the Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy. By December 2007 Larry Conte was awarded Certifications as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Medical Hypnotherapist, and finally a Master Hypnotherapist. His training in Southern California as a Smoking Cessation Specialist was amazing. The techniques he learned took over 10 years to fully develop. After being Certified, Larry continued studying with that School and became the quickest graduate to qualify as a Mentor. With over 800 Graduates he still holds the record.

Monterey Hypnosis Center Additional Certifications
Shortly after opening our offices, it didn’t take long before realizing that our clients needed more help than we had to offer at this time – a lot more help. We searched for the next best level of technology in the Hypnosis profession. Luckily we found Dr Scott McFall. Located in North Dakota, Dr McFall accepted Larry Conte as a student of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Dr McFall taught him specialized techniques for actual application in Real Life. In 2008, after many flights to North Dakota, Dr McFall awarded Larry Conte Certifications as an NLP Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner, and NLP Teacher . He still wanted more, so Dr Mcfall taught Larry his stage show routine and Certified him as a Master of Demonstrational Hypnosis.
Weight Loss Hypnosis
Dr McFall also taught Larry a special technique – Weight Loss Hypnosis. What a gift! With this time tested and proven Weight Loss Program, we are able to deliver to our clients the only guaranteed Weight Loss Program we know of. California Hypnosis
When we started our practice, calls came in from all kinds of people wanting to make changes and improve their lives. Most of the changes are common like, weight loss, stop smoking, stress reduction or stress management, anxiety, sleep apnea, insomnia, motivation and achieving goals. A big one is pain management or pain reduction. Some other common changes have to do with phobias like fear. Fear of flying, fear of snakes, fear of heights, fear of relationship, fear of birth, fear of failure, claustrophobia and so on. For golfers, how about that 15th club, you know, the one between your ears. Some clients have a little more unique changes, twisting or pulling their hair, picking their finger nails excessively, study habits, memory retention, test anxiety, and others I’d rather not mention. The memory retention and test anxiety has become more popular due to the amazing results clients are realizing.
